Cisco Moving For Improved Broadband Internet WiFi Experiences

Cisco the owner of the leading name in wireless networks under their brand Linksys, has decided to bring their focus back to developing good WiFi networking devices for consumers. They understand the desire of consumers to use their networks for video and connecting all their on the go devices easily on one wireless network.

The problem that most consumers have faced in the current technological innovative era is that now they have all of these devices such as iPhones, iPads, iPods, Droid phones, netbooks, and laptops and they want to connect all these devices with little trouble to their home networks. There are even internet connected devices now that stream video and TV services to the home entertainment center. Most consumers have the broadband internet service to support these devices and now they need a network that smooths the way.

Cisco believes that it can address this issue by first creating great wireless routers that can handle the workload and compatibility issues for all these wireless devices. Rather than have multiple devices connecting to the high speed internet on their own through separate modems and wireless boxes, they want to bring everything together into one system which will tremendously make it all more efficient especially with the high speeds of today's cable and DSL internet services.

The second problem that the company wants to address is training store personnel in stores like Best Buy or Staples to be able to provide the customer with the right equipment to do the job right the first time. One of the reasons consumers have been reluctant to trust all their needs with one router is that they have gotten home with a device or devices that just doesn't meet their needs leaving them disappointed with the wireless experience.

One of the things that Cisco has going for it in making it the primary source to meet home networking needs is that it has the know-how when it comes to bringing streaming video across service providers, businesses, and home networks. They use their teams from both business and consumer divisions of the company to collaborate on creating the best software that make the Linksys routers so powerful. These new wireless router not only network the internet and devices but also acts as a video processing unit that can help bear the video load making the streaming video experience much better.

With Cisco's focus back on creating awesome wireless networking software and devices, the home networking experience is sure to only get better. Better customer support and routing devices that perform the tasks that consumers want should certainly help Cisco continue to grow as the number one wireless manufacturer. Home network users are definitely ready for the change too.
