The global interconnection of computer networks in the world is called the internet. It connects any device that has to communicate to other devices on this network. The department of defense of the US founded it in the 1970s after which the developments led to high speed internet Georgia.

When it started, it was naked and did not have many technologies as they have been improved today. In Georgia, connectivity was perceived to be unreliable and many people did not want it but with time, it has gained a lot of popularity. People now consider it as a basic need for a successful career. Generally, the connectivity is now one of the key players in the marketing of businesses and products through online links and programs.

Digital divide still occurs in Georgia just like in the whole world. There is a gap between the connectivity in developed urban areas and the poor rural areas. Sparse and scattered population makes providers unable to recover equipment costs. On the other hand urban areas are densely populated making connectivity provision cheaper. There is a movement worldwide towards making connectivity a human right. Some countries have already made this a right in their states.

Broadband data rates are generally faster than the primary rates which gives this service the name fast connectivity. They hung at around 4Mbps though this value is debatable as many other companies have their own standard values.

Accessibility is established through a number of ways. They include wireless, local area networks, mobile broadband, leased lines, and satellite connection among others. Wireless connection involves connecting to the global network without any physical transmission media. The connecting device is installed with an in-built transmitter and receiver.

Connection may be through wireless service providers, local area networks, satellite connection, mobile broadband, Wi-Fi and dial up. Dial up uses the already existing telephone wires to set up a connection. It takes full control of the line till transmissions are over. It is a slow method of connection but the only option in rural areas.

Satellite connection is provided by satellite companies through satellites within the geostationary orbit. They are fast but expensive with faster latencies. They cover a very large area and are suitable for areas which would be expensive to wire. Transmissions are basically packet based while billing may be based on amount of data transferred and whose rate defines the fast transmissions like high speed internet Georgia.
